Reflection & Evaluation
In organisations that are going through change, Senge has identified that a 'reflection gap' can develop, "limiting the possibilities for genuine enthusiasm and commitment". Much of the reflection we do in organisations is public and happens in meetings of one kind or another. The opportunity to close the reflection gap lies with our ability to develop effective reflective meeting processes. There is a close interplay between trust and reflectiveness, so another purpose for this chapter is to suggest ways to reflect and include reflection in meetings which build safety and trust.
