Designing A Meeting - 1

There are a number of disciplines which will support good meeting design, which we thought were worth devoting a chapter to. These include building a shared context and understanding the inputs which:

  • Take account of all the potential participants
  • Develop a shared understanding of the range of desired outputs.
  • Creates a clear sense of potential common purpose.
  • Will be engaging to all present and drive the design process.

The more time and energy invested in doing these well, the less time will be wasted in the meeting.
